In hot summer I don't always want to eat a piece of meat or fish, sometimes I just get by with simple salads or fruits. But nutritionists unanimously say that you need to eat protein every day, so sometimes I prepare such "spreads". The result is an easy and figure-friendly snack with a good portion of protein.

This pate has just three main ingredients, the first of which is champignons. I cut them into any shape and fry in a dry pan until tender, add salt and pepper.

Next, in the same pan, I fry the carrots, also without oil. Periodically add a little water, carcass carrots until tender. Onions seem to me to be superfluous in this pate, so I do not add it.

The basis of the pate is chickpeas, I wash them well and cook without adding salt. I think many people know that legumes do not need to be salted during cooking, or they become "oak" and not tasty.

When the mushrooms and carrots are completely ready, it remains to grind all the ingredients with a blender. I also definitely add 2 cloves of garlic, but this is optional. I also add vegetable oil, salt and spices to the blender.

I grind everything until smooth and send it to the refrigerator until it cools completely. This is a great snack for an afternoon snack, be sure to try it.

Champignon mushrooms 250 grams
Chickpeas 100 grams (dry)
Carrot 1 pc
Garlic 2-3 cloves (optional)
