Sometimes you really want to make some delicious and sweet cake for tea, but... But, sometimes it happens that the refrigerator is almost empty.
Today I want to invite you to cook delicious fluffy cake for tea "practically out of nothing". The recipe is very simple, there are a minimum of ingredients, and at the same time, the finished cake can serve as an excellent basis for an almost holiday cake.

Cooking ingredients:
Water - 250 ml
Sugar - 200 g
Vegetable oil - 80 ml
Vanillin - to taste
Cocoa powder - 3 tbsp. l.
Baking powder - 1.5 tsp l.
Salt - 1/2 tsp l.
Wheat flour - 220-230 g
Getting started cooking ...
Sift flour, cocoa powder and baking powder into a deep bowl and add sugar. Mix everything well. I recommend using good quality cocoa powder, then you will get a richer chocolate shade and taste in the finished cake.
Then pour in vegetable oil and immediately all the water, heated to room temperature. Instead of water, you can use fruit juice or tea or weak coffee. But the option with just water is the most economical.
Mix the dough with a whisk. It is possible with a mixer, but this is not necessary - the mass easily acquires a uniform consistency without lumps. I usually use a mixer when you need to beat eggs, but here they are not.
Now we take any baking dish (of course, it is more convenient to use a split baking dish), grease with a small amount of vegetable oil, you can even sprinkle it with a little flour. Pour the dough into the prepared form and send it to bake in the preheated oven.
The cake is baked at a temperature of 170 degrees for 40-50 minutes. We check the readiness with a wooden stick - when punctured, it should come out dry, without damp dough.
Sprinkle the finished cake with powdered sugar or pour it with melted chocolate, and also You can make your own chocolate icing:
We take 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder and powdered sugar, 1 spoon of starch and somewhere 2-3 tablespoons of plain water. Mix all this and heat a little over a fire. Pour the cake with still warm icing, and sprinkle on top, for example, with chopped nuts. Cook, taste, bon appetit!
