Today I want to bring to your attention another simple and easy recipe for a cake for tea, which prepared from the simplest and most affordable products, in most cases always available to everyone in stock!
Cooking ingredients:
Chicken eggs - 3 pcs.
Sugar - 150-170 g
Milk - 200 ml
Vegetable oil - 100 ml
Vanillin - to taste
Baking powder - 10 g sachet
Flour - 300 g
You can add to the content: nuts, any dried fruits, raisins, dried cranberries, pieces of chocolate. Or simply replace a few tablespoons of flour with cocoa - there will be a chocolate cake.
The first step, of course, is better to deal with the filling - although you can bake a cake, without anything at all. But still... If you use dried fruits, or raisins, you first need to soak them in water for a few minutes, then dry them and chop large fruits. We also chop the nuts.
Now we break the eggs into a bowl, add sugar, vanillin and beat for a couple of minutes with a mixer, or even just a whisk, here I need to achieve a lush foam.
Then pour in milk (at least cold, at least warm), vegetable oil, mix.
Next, sift the flour - all at once and baking powder, and grind to a homogeneous consistency without lumps.
At the very end, put nuts or prepared dried fruits, or chocolate, cut into small pieces (also very tasty), mix again.
Pour the dough into a baking dish, no more than 24 cm in diameter, grease it with oil and sprinkle it with flour - I read somewhere that this is called "French shirt". Instead of the usual round shape, you can use a cupcake bowl - you get a cake-cake!
The pie is baked in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes. It bakes very well - the crumb is heavy, but very porous, and moderately moist.
We cool the cake right in the mold, it does not settle at all, then we transfer it to a dish and, if desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar, or pour over melted chocolate. Cook, taste, enjoy your tea!
