And today I want to bring to your attention a recipe for another pie, the dough for which is also kneaded with kefir, and cabbage (and other vegetables ...) and eggs are used as the filling. The pie turns out to be very soft, fluffy and delicious. Be sure to try it and see for yourself!

Cooking ingredients:

For the test:
Kefir 250 ml
Sour cream - 2-3 tbsp. l.
Vegetable oil - 2-3 tbsp. l.
Chicken egg - 1 pc.
Salt - 1 tsp l.
Sugar - 1 tsp l.
Baking powder - 1 tsp l.
For filling:
Cabbage - 600 g
Carrots - 1 pc.
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Chicken eggs (boiled) - 4 pcs.
Tomato paste - 1 tbsp l.
Salt, sugar, black pepper, spices - to taste
Vegetable oil
Greens

Let's get started ...

First, let's prepare the filling, since it is prepared by stewing, and accordingly it will be hot. This means that it will need to be cooled, and at this time it will be just possible to prepare the dough. We peel all the vegetables for the filling, rinse, chop the cabbage, chop the onion, rub the carrots on a coarse grater. Next, pour about 50 ml of vegetable oil into the pan, heat it up, first put the onion, after a minute we put the cabbage and carrots. Mix everything, cover with a lid, and simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes. Then add tomato paste, salt, sugar and other spices - and this is all according to your taste preferences, mix and continue to simmer for about 5-7 minutes.

Then we transfer the stewed vegetables from the pan to some kind of dish and cool. Simultaneously with stewing vegetables, set the eggs to boil.

Cooking the dough - pour kefir into a bowl, add sour cream, an egg, put salt, sugar, pour in vegetable oil and mix.

Then sift the flour and baking powder, and knead the soft dough. We give the finished dough some time to "rest" by wrapping it in plastic wrap.

Now we wait for the filling to cool down and begin to collect the pie. In its simplest form, you can divide the dough into two unequal parts - and make an ordinary, simple pie. I'll show you how I make a pie with a little decoration. To do this, I separate a small part (the size of a fist) for decorations from the total piece of dough, and divide the remaining dough into 2 unequal parts (larger and smaller).

I roll out most of it into a round layer - 0.5 cm thick, transfer it to a baking sheet (which can be covered with parchment or foil), on top I spread all the vegetable (cooled) filling.

On top I put boiled eggs and herbs cut into cubes.

I close it with the second sheet of rolled dough, pinch the edges.

I also roll out the smallest piece of dough, which I left for decoration, in a round layer and cut it into segments - like into bagels. On each triangle, I make notches along the edges, cut off the tip - the simplest petals are obtained.

Spread the petals on top of the pie - here you yourself can dream up a drawing, and grease with whipped yolk on top.

The pie is baked in the oven, at a temperature of 180-190 degrees, 30 minutes. Cook, taste, Bon appetit!
