Some time ago, I published on my channel a recipe for cooking mackerel in the oven on an onion pillow. The recipe is very simple, the mackerel is very tasty and aromatic.

And today I cook mackerel in the oven with paprika. For the first time I tried this dish about two weeks ago at a party - and, already twice this week, I myself have cooked fish according to this recipe.
Delicious!!! I recommend everyone to try this cooking option.
Cooking ingredients:
Mackerel - I have 2 pcs. you can take any amount
Paprika - 1 tsp l.
Salt - 1/2 tsp l.
Garlic - 3 cloves
A little vegetable oil - 3-4 tbsp. l.

We take freshly frozen mackerel, wash it, remove the insides and dry it slightly with paper napkins / towels. My advice (already from experience) - do not defrost the fish to the end, it will be easier to work with it, and the fillet will look more aesthetically pleasing... Unfortunately, this time my fish was completely thawed, and here you can see that the flesh is spreading a little.
Now we cut each prepared mackerel carcass into two fillet halves... In fact, this is done very simply. - it is enough to make an incision with a sharp knife along the back and gently pull out the ridge with your fingers.
We remove the fish for now, make a marinade - squeeze several cloves of peeled garlic into a bowl, pour in vegetable oil, put salt and red ground paprika (smoked it tastes better) and stir everything.
We grease each half of the mackerel with the made marinade - on one side and leave to marinate for about 5 minutes. This time is quite enough, otherwise some people write - we leave to marinate for 3 hours! The fish is pickled very quickly.
We transfer the fillet halves to a baking sheet, and send them to bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, at a temperature of 200 degrees. It's really delicious - try it and see for yourself! Bon Appetit!
