Almost every day I try to publish a new recipe on my culinary channel. And, there are already more than 500 of them on my page! Pastries, salads, fish and meat dishes, desserts and preserves... And, if you are really interested in cooking, do "a little walk" on my page - maybe something will interest you!

Literally 10 days I published a recipe for a very tasty and interesting pie, which is made from the most ordinary dumplings dough - but the result exceeds all expectations!

And today I make bread with a very interesting name "Elephant's Ear", according to a recipe which, as you can see, is gaining great popularity on the Internet! This is my first experience of making such bread, and now, definitely not the last ...

Cooking ingredients:

Milk - 250 ml
Dry yeast - 1 tsp l.
Sugar - 2 tsp l.
Butter (in dough) - 60 g
Salt - 1 tsp l.
Flour - 400-450 g
Butter to grease the tortillas - 30 g
Chicken yolk for brushing, and some sesame seeds for topping

Let's get started ...

Pour warm milk into a bowl, put yeast, sugar, about 50 g of flour (out of the total amount), stir and leave for a while to form a dough.

Next, pour in the melted butter, but by no means hotter, put salt, mix.

And, now we sift the flour. Knead soft dough. Cover the bowl with the dough with a towel or a lid, and put it in a warm place to rise, for about one hour.

As you can see, after an hour the dough rose well - we proceed to further actions.

Divide the dough into 15-17 small pieces, round and let rest for 10 minutes.

Now arm yourself with a rolling pin - and roll each bun into a cake, 10-12 cm in diameter. Grease each cake with melted butter on both sides.

We put the prepared cakes in a suitable baking dish in a circular fan. Cover with a cotton towel again, and leave to proof for about 30 minutes.

After the bread rises, grease it on top with loose yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds - but, this is already to your taste.

Such bread is baked in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes. This is a really delicious bread - I really liked it! Cook so too - bon appetit!
