In summer, and especially in the heat, there is no desire to cook anything at all - and even more so any complex or difficult dishes. I try to keep things as simple as possible.

And, today I want to bring to your attention a recipe for making unusual cutlets, which taste like with meat, but absolutely without it.

I make these cutlets from oatmeal with the addition of potatoes - I cook quite often, and it is very tasty to serve them with some kind of vegetable salad and sour cream. And everyone who tried my cutlets, for some reason, claimed that they contain minced chicken.

To prepare these cutlets, take 200 g oatmeal, the most common. I fill them up 1 cup boiling water and leave for a while so that they swell a little.

After about 10 minutes, I rub into a bowl with swollen cereals 2-3 medium potatoes on a coarse grater and one onion. Squeezing through the garlic press 2-3 cloves of garlic. I don't add anything else - no eggs, no flour ...

Salt, pepper and I mix everything well.

And, then I form cutlets from this mass, round or oblong in shape and fry in a pan, with the addition of a small amount of vegetable oil over medium heat. Very tasty cutlets are obtained. Cook, taste, Bon appetit!
