Hello, my name is Oksana! I am glad to greet everyone who has looked at my page. Thanks so much for taking the time to read my recipes! I would be grateful for your comments and subscriptions!
On my channel, I have already published many recipes for various homemade pastries, if you find the time, then "walk" along my feed - maybe you will like something!
I will leave links to some of my most popular baking recipes at the end of this publication.
Today I want to invite you to cook the simplest thinner stuffed tortillas - the simplest yeast-free dough, and the filling is made of cottage cheese with cheese and herbs. Or, someone will say that these are pasties without meat !!!
It's delicious, simple and fast!
Cooking ingredients:
For the test:
Water (warm) - 200 ml
Milk (warm) - 100 ml
Egg yolk - 1 pc. — the protein will go into the filling
Vegetable oil - 3-4 tbsp. l.
Salt - 1 tsp l.
Baking powder - 1 tsp l.
Flour - about 650 g
For filling:
Cottage cheese - 300 g
Egg white - 1 pc.
Greens ((dill, parsley, green onions) - to taste
Salt to taste
Let's start cooking ...
Pour warm milk and water into a bowl for kneading dough, add salt, egg yolk and pour in vegetable oil, mix.
Next, sift the flour together with baking powder and knead the soft dough. We wrap it in plastic wrap or put it in a plastic bag and let it rest for 10 minutes.
And at this time, we prepare the filling - put the cottage cheese in a bowl, rub the cheese on a coarse grater and add the chopped fresh herbs.
Salt a little to taste, mix. On this, the filling is ready!
Now we divide the "rested" dough into 12-13 parts, round each of them and let it sit for another 3 minutes, then the dough can be easily rolled out, and the cakes will not shrink.
After 3 minutes, roll each bun into a thin cake - large enough, put half about a tablespoon of the filling and distribute it evenly, leave free space for the pinch around the edge.
Cover the filling with the second half of the dough, carefully release the air and pinch the edges tightly. You can cut irregularities or make a beautiful pattern using the teeth of a fork.
And, in exactly the same way, we form all the remaining stuffed cakes.
Fry in a dry frying pan over low heat on 2 sides until characteristic ruddy bubbles. Do not fry for a long time on one side at once, it is better to turn the cakes several times from one side to the other - this way they bake evenly.
And while the cakes are still hot (If desired) you can grease them with butter. Cook, taste, Bon appetit!
