When a certain amount of minced meat is available, many different delicious dishes can be prepared. And, each hostess can boast of her signature dish!

Today I want to offer you a recipe for cooking my "signature" dish - these are meat cheesecakes (or nests) with delicious cheese filling.

Everything is prepared very quickly - I spend only 10-15 minutes on preparation and in the oven... Try it! This is a really tasty meat dish - you don't even need a side dish.

Ingredients for making meat cakes:

For cutlets:
Minced meat - 500 g
Baton - 2 slices
Milk - 60-70 ml
Garlic - 1 clove fresh or a pinch of dried
Chicken egg - 1 pc.
Onions - 1 medium head
Salt, black pepper - to taste.
For cheese filling:
Hard cheese - 100 g
Sour cream - 2 tbsp. l.
Chicken egg - 1 pc.
Salt, spices, herbs
And 1 tomato

Let's start cooking ...

We take a few slices of a loaf or white bread, cut off the crusts, and break the crumb with our hands or cut into large cubes and transfer to a deep bowl. It is better to use not a fresh loaf, but yesterday's one, since the crumb here is no longer so soft, but denser, and the texture of the minced meat also turns out to be denser and will keep the desired shape. Fill the crumb with milk at room temperature, stir and set aside for now.

In the meantime, we are preparing other products. We transfer the minced meat into a deep container. Add the onion, finely diced. We also put salt, pepper and a pinch of dried garlic here (you can also use fresh, squeeze it through a garlic press). We break the egg.

Now we squeeze the softened crumb from the milk and add to the bowl to the minced meat. Usually, the crumb is added with milk, but not this time - the minced meat should be dense enough so that later the "cheesecakes" do not spread. We knead everything thoroughly with our hands and set aside for now.

Let's prepare cheese and sour cream filling. To do this, rub a small piece of cheese into a bowl on a coarse grater.

Add finely chopped parsley (you can also take dill if you prefer its taste), break the egg and put sour cream. Salt, pepper and add some spices to your taste. We mix.

Now we divide all the minced meat into 4 approximately equal parts, make large round meatballs and put them in a suitable baking dish. In the middle, make indentations with your fingers, forming "nests".

Fill the cheese filling. Put a tomato circle in the center of each cheesecake. And we send it to the oven.

Meat cheesecakes are baked at 180 degrees for about 30-40 minutes. The cheesecakes are very juicy on the inside and delicious on the outside. The aroma when baked is amazing! As a side dish, you can serve potatoes, pasta, cereals, vegetable stew - whatever you like, but you can do without a side dish altogether! Cook, taste, Bon appetit!
