Today I am sharing with you the most delicious recipe for oven baked mackerel. The fish turns out to be juicy, thanks to the filling, it is very tasty, both cold and hot.

I cook 3 at once, because one is always not enough, and everyone asks for supplements :)

Ingredients for cooking 1pc.

Mackerel 1pc (500gr)
Lemon juice 1 tsp
Ground coriander 1/3 tsp
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Ground black pepper 1/3 tsp
Carrot 1pc (100g)
Onion 1pc (100g)
Spreadable processed cheese 60g

1. To make the fish tasty, without bitterness, it must be well gutted.

  • I cut fresh mackerel along the abdomen, remove the insides and gills, and rinse them under cold running water.
  • Remains of moisture, film inside and blackness are removed with a paper towel.

2. Preparing marinade for fish :

  • I mix salt, pepper, coriander, vegetable oil and lemon juice. I lubricate the fish inside and out.

3. I will prepare the filling for the fish:

  • Finely chop the onion, grate the carrots for Korean carrots (you can use a coarse grater)
  • I lightly fry the vegetables in a skillet with vegetable oil.
  • I add salt, pepper and melted pasty cheese to the cooled vegetables.

4. I put the fish on foil, stuff the head with the filling inside.

5. I wrap the fish in foil, put it on a baking sheet, put it in the oven preheated to 180-200 degrees for 30 minutes.

6. I take the fish out of the oven, unfold the foil, and send it for another 10 minutes to brown the mackerel.

In just 40 minutes, the mackerel is ready and can be served. An ideal dish, both for a festive table and on weekdays, will help out any hostess.
