Continuing the theme of blanks, one cannot miss such a salad as "Kuban" - with cabbage, cucumbers and peppers. The salad is very tasty even freshly pickled one hour after cutting, even before processing, so it is strongly I recommend to cook not only for the winter, but also a jar in order to eat with potatoes right away - just delicious! And the scent is breathtaking! Cook quickly!
Ingredients
- 1 kg tomato
- 1 kg of cabbage
- 1 kg of cucumbers
- 1 kg sweet pepper
- 500 g onions
- 500 g carrots
- 1.5 tbsp. l. salt or to taste
- 100-120 g sugar
- 150 ml vinegar 9%
- 250 ml vegetable oil
- Hot pepper - optional
- Garlic Free (Traditional)
- 20 black peppercorns
- 10 bay leaves
Steps
1. Shred the cabbage, add salt from the general rate, mix, knead with your hands to make the juice stand out.
2. Cut tomatoes and cucumbers as for salad, onions in half rings, carrots and peppers in strips.
3. Mix all the vegetables, add sugar, the remaining salt, vegetable oil, bay leaves, peppercorns and 1/3 of the vinegar from the total norm.
We leave the winter salad for about 1 hour, an awesome alluring aroma appears, the smell is such that it is impossible to resist, we immediately took away the bowl and managed with potatoes with such pleasure! Such deliciousness!
4.So, put the cabbage salad on the fire, bring to a boil (to speed up the process, you can cover it for a while), then boil over low heat for 8 minutes, add vinegar, mix very neat, because the vegetables are already soft and in a minute you can start the process of laying vegetables in sterilized jars, roll up with sterilized lids, turn over, wrap with a blanket until full cooling.
