Such miracle pies do not get stale at all, they are just as soft and tasty as soon as they come out of a frying pan. True, they rarely stay on the second day! Try this recipe and you won't regret it!
Ingredients
- 300 ml Kefir (fat)
- 60 ml Sour cream (fat)
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- teaspoon not full Soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- 500 grams Flour (premium grade)
- 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
- Filling of your choice
Steps
Sift the flour into a bowl. Add salt, sugar and soda.
Mix warm kefir with sour cream.. Make a well in the flour and pour in one tbsp. l. oils. There we gradually add kefir with sour cream. Stir with a spoon until lumps of dough appear.
Add the remaining 2 tbsp. butter and knead soft plastic dough. Sometimes you won't even get your hands dirty while you knead it - this is such a wonderful dough! It is not necessary to extinguish soda if the kefir is sour enough. If you make it on yogurt, then you have to pay off.
Leave the dough to rest by covering with a towel.
Divide the dough into 40-60 grams portions. It depends on what kind of pies you like - big or not so. We make pies as usual. Fry in a preheated pan with a little vegetable oil over medium heat. Don't let them float in oil or deep fat.
Fry very quickly. Put the finished pies in a deep bowl and cover with a lid. This portion makes 10-12 pies. If you want more, feel free to increase the portion!
