Budgetary, because at the output even from 1 kg of blue whiting from 20 and (more often) more delicious cutlets! The recipe for these delicious cutlets is also good because you may not even understand that this is a fish. My youngest son did not eat fish at all, in any form, there was just trouble... And when I first made these cutlets and fed all my household, it never occurred to him that it was fish. Then, of course, the "secret" was revealed.
Very important!
These cutlets can be made from ANY fish, it is not at all necessary to buy an expensive one, from blue whiting, for example, they are no less tasty than from any other expensive.
By the way, no matter how much fish you take, the rest of the ingredients remain in the same amount.
When I use blue whiting, I take 1 kg, a lot of waste is generated there. And fish pulp, especially when the fillet is cut, turns out to be a "pathetic handful". Do not be confused by this, at the output you will still get at least 20 full-fledged cutlets, I have 21 pieces. - 3 pans of 7 each.
If I take haddock or pollock, it turns out even more. So this recipe is very budget friendly.
Ingredients
- 1 kg of fish (any, even blue whiting):
- 2-3 eggs
- 2 large onions (chop finely!)
- to taste Salt, pepper
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 4 tablespoons flour
Steps
To prepare the fish - to free it from bones and fins, it is not necessary from the skin if the fish is not very large.
Cut the fillet into medium-sized cubes or tear it with your hands (this is the main secret of the recipe).
You can skip through a meat grinder or grind it with a blender, but then the main "secret" of the taste of these cutlets will go away.
Combine all ingredients.
Mix everything.
Spoon into a frying pan in well-heated vegetable oil (do not be greedy with oil) and fry on both sides. source
