Everyone knows about the super benefits of greens (the "blood of plants" chlorophyll improves the condition of our blood, cleansing it of bacteria), but not everyone loves to chew it like a goat! Many people find it easier to drink it, rather than sit and chew a bunch.
We personally make a green cocktail and know that today's portion of greens has been received (a person needs a daily the use of fiber, so that the feces are better formed and more "waste" is excreted life activity).
But if you overdo it with "dry greens", you can cause constipation instead of cleansing, because the greens absorb a lot of fluid from the intestines. Therefore, it is more rational to drink it immediately with water in the form of a cocktail. But this does not negate eating greens with other dishes (in salads, etc.). In our opinion, it is correct to eat greens in their usual form and drink them in liquid form (this way and that for a change). The main thing is to drink the biblical norm of water of 1.5 liters per day and everything will be fine.
By the way, you can eat greens not only in the summer, but calmly grow "green tea" all year round on the windowsill (oats, wheat, onions, ..). Now it's autumn in the yard and you can have time to transplant mint, nettle, dill from the ridge into pots before frost ...)
Ingredients:
1. Mint - a bunch (dilates blood vessels)
2. Arugula - a bunch (kills fungi)
3. Parsley - a bunch (thins the blood)
4. Water - 1 glass
(You can use one type of greens or use different of your favorite greens. We often make a green cocktail with nettles and parsley, nettles thicken the blood a little, and parsley thins them, so this combination suits us).
Preparation
We took fresh herbs (ideally from our garden!), Washed it thoroughly (it is even better to soak it in water with soda). We cut the greens with scissors into a blender container, added water at room temperature.
We turned on the apparatus for a few seconds (or a minute) and the green cocktail with fiber is ready. Be sure to drink it fresh while it is fresh (the fact is that this product is alive and therefore quickly oxidizes on oxygen).
If the blender is weak, does not grind the greens well and it gets stuck in the throat, then you can strain the cocktail through a strainer. It will be easier to drink, but it will be green water, which, if it stands, will leave only a teaspoon of chlorophyll in the sediment. The benefits, of course, are much greater when the drink is concentrated, and even with fiber. We used to filter green cocktails, but now we have got a more powerful blender and are already making the cocktail more concentrated.
