Home marinated mackerel much cheaper than the store, and the taste is not inferior.

In the process, you can give free rein to their imagination, using a variety of ingredients for the marinade, each time surprising guests new flavor dishes.

Juicy and delicious salted mackerel on the holiday table, or just a family dinner necessarily will appeal to everyone to try it.

Recipe for marinated mackerel

Ingredients:

Frozen mackerel - 3 pieces.
Onions - 3 pcs
Garlic - 3 cloves
Sugar - 1 tsp
Salt - 1 tbsp
Vinegar - 3 tbsp
Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp
Bay leaf - 2-3 pc.
Allspice pepper - 1 tsp
A mixture of peppers to taste

Preparation:


1. Carefully my frozen fish, cleaned from the innards and cut into small pieces (previously defrosted fish is not worth it, because the pieces fall apart, turn out shaggy, rough).

2. Onions cleanse and cut into rings.

3. Cut the garlic into thin slices.

4. In a separate container lay out the pieces of fish on top of onions and garlic.

Then add sugar, salt, vinegar, oil, bay leaf, pepper and sweet peppers mixture.
All gently stir.

5. Put the fish with spices in a jar, cover and put them in the fridge for 24 hours (this time the bank was shaken several times).

After a while the fish is ready for use.

Taste turns sweet, without clear-cut accents (those same emphasis can be arranged, according to their preferences: a little more pepper, special spice, herbs, etc.)

This mackerel - excellent traditional snack that is perfect for potatoes.

Also pickled mackerel can be used for sandwiches.
