Ivan-tea doesn't really need any introduction! One continuous benefit for immunity, and therefore for the whole body as a whole.
But when harvesting and preparing this wonderful healing plant, some of the benefits are lost. For example, it is harvested in the wrong place (near a dusty road), at the wrong time (it is necessary during the flowering of fireweed, in the morning), it is fried in the oven and all the nutrients killed, or dried in the open sun and all vitamins are burned with ultraviolet light, steamed with boiling water and there is very little benefit from such tea, because everything is thermally killed.
And you can get the most out of Ivan tea by simply eating it fresh, adding the leaves to green cocktails, making jelly from the stems. Or, as an option, turning Ivan tea into powder and using a teaspoon during a meal, adding it to various tea and other herbal drinks, mixtures, cereals, desserts, sauces, etc.
So we get to the maximum all the vitamins and minerals that are in this divine plant, and not just pour them into the toilet like most, brewing fireweed leaves with boiling water, at best, receiving only 0.5% of nutrients 100% possible (some do herbal tooth powder, face scrubs from various herbs, powder from "Ivan" mixed with other herbs is also good for cosmetic goals).
Ingredients:
1. Ivan tea leaves - a handful
2. Fireweed flowers - a handful
Preparation
We take dry leaves and flowers of fermented Ivan-tea (prepared in advance in the season).
Pour into a coffee grinder, grind for a few seconds (often coffee grinders are designed for short-term operation, so you can grind in 2-3 passes).
Ground, sifted through a sieve with fine holes. We poured fireweed powder into a jar, covered with a lid and stored in a dry, dark place. The main thing is to remember and use it.
Enjoy your tea, dear friends! (Live natural green tea is incomparable with charred brown purchased. Green tea is the best antioxidant to reduce blood viscosity and rejuvenate the body)
Fireweed is simply harvested. In the summer, during the flowering of Ivan-tea (July-September), we collect leaves and flowers, roll them in our hands so that the juice stands out, put them in a small bag and under a press overnight. When the smell of caterpillars changes to the smell of strawberries, spread the leaves on newspapers and dry in a well-ventilated place.
