Fats and animal and vegetable are useful for the lungs and bronchi (everyone knows this and is especially important now).
In the cold season, for "sugrev", we periodically make ourselves such a hot, semi-raw, fatty jelly. It is both satisfying (carbohydrates, fats, fiber) and healthy, because we make it without starch and sugar.
Ingredients:
1. Oatmeal - 1 cup (not rancid)
2. Coconut oil - 3 tablespoons (you can also use butter, Indian ghee, but we stick to a vegan menu, that's why we do it with coconut)
3. Honey - 2 tablespoons (for sweetness)
4. Ginger Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon (Bactericidal)
5. Water - 3 glasses (high quality)
6. Coconut pulp - 5x5 cm piece (fiber and vegetable fats)
Preparation
We take oatmeal (high quality, but not instant), pour it into a jar, fill it with warm water, leave it to soak for 10-20 minutes.
Place the swollen oatmeal in a blender container and add warm water. Then grind for about 1 minute until oat milk is formed. Pour the oat milk through a strainer into a small scoop and start heating over high heat, stirring vigorously until thickened. After 3-5 minutes, the jelly is ready.
Let it cool down and add coconut oil and shavings to it (rub a piece of coconut on a fine grater and get fresh oily shavings).
When the jelly has become warm, ginger powder and honey are added (when hot, it loses its beneficial properties). If desired, for the good of the case, you can add another pinch of turmeric (they say that it is also good for the lungs). Have a nice day, dear friends!
