Hello friends! I want to share a recipe for a beautiful seasonal vegetable pie. Watch a video clip with the nuances of assembly and baking.
VIDEO RECIPE FOR A COLORED PIE 👇
PIE "AUTUMN RAINBOW"
- Line the baking sheet with baking paper. The diameter of my mold is 24 cm.
- Combine flour, salt and seasonings in a blender.
- Add the frozen butter, diced.
- Grind everything into crumbs.
- Add one egg yolk, cold water and quickly knead the dough.
- If the dough is hot, put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
- If it is still cold, then roll out a circle with a diameter of 28-30 cm.
- Put it in a mold, prick it with a fork and put it in the refrigerator for 40-50 minutes.
SEASONAL FILLING
- All vegetables must be washed and dried.
- Boil finely chopped carrots in boiling salted water for 5 minutes.
- The rest of the vegetables are also finely chopped, salted and baked in the oven or microwave.
- Cut the tomatoes into thin slices too.
- You can use sun-dried tomatoes.
- Chop the onion and brisket.
- Place the brisket in a hot skillet.
- Fry a little and add onion.
- Grate 1-2 cloves of garlic here and fry everything together until the onion turns golden.
- Remove the base from the refrigerator.
- Spread parchment on top of the dough and add beans or peas.
Put in the oven at 190 ° C for ten minutes.
FILLING
- Combine cream, salt, cream cheese, egg and remaining egg white.
- Mix everything with a hand whisk.
- Allow the finished base to cool slightly and place the bacon and onion on the bottom.
- The most precious work remains - to lay out the vegetables beautifully.
- Gently alternate them in layers as you like.
- When the vegetables are laid out neatly between the layers, spread the filling.
Send the cake to the oven and lower the temperature to 175 ° C.
After 20 minutes, take out the pie, and brush the vegetables on top with olive oil.
- Put the cake in the oven again for another 20 minutes.
- When the mold has cooled, remove the ring.
