Today I want to offer you to cook a simple and quick to prepare, as it is prepared without baking, and at the same time very tasty Monastyrskaya izba cake in a new way.

I will make a cake with cottage cheese cream, but this cake is also very tasty with custard-based Sundae cream.

The cake turns out to be beautiful and very tasty, it can be easily prepared for homemade tea.

Let's prepare the cream

  • Put 120 grams of soft butter in a clean, dry bowl
  • Add 120 grams or 6 tbsp. tablespoons of powdered sugar
  • 20 grams or 4 tsp vanilla sugar

Beat with a mixer, icing sugar and vanilla sugar should completely dissolve, and butter should become light and airy.

We combine together 400 grams of soft cottage cheese and 300 grams of sour cream, I have sour cream with a fat content of 25%.

Stir until smooth.

If you have cottage cheese with grains, so that it becomes smooth and uniform, then wipe it through a sieve or punch with a blender.

Combine the curd mass with whipped butter.

You can take any cottage cheese that you like, I use cottage cheese made from kefir.

Cottage cheese, if desired, can be replaced with Mascarpone cream cheese or curd cheese.

Beat well with a mixer until a fluffy cream.

When i cook with cottage cheese made from kefir, I always get a fluffy cream that keeps its shape perfectly.

If your cream does not hold its shape, put it in the refrigerator to freeze the cream.

To soak the cookies, mix together 200 grams of water and about 90 grams of jam, the jam can be added to taste. I have cherry jam.

You can take any jam that you like, the main thing it should be with sourness. Red currant jam, cranberry, plum jam are also well suited.

Grease the plate with a small amount of cream.

Impregnate Savoyardi cookies in the impregnation, let the impregnation drain and put on a plate.

It is not necessary to soak for a long time, the cookies absorb the impregnation very quickly, they just get wet, turned over and take out.

Savoyardi cookies we spread it so that there is a gap of about 2 ml between them.

Fill the gaps between the cookies with sour jam. I have cherry jam. You can use jam instead of jam.

Next, cover the cookies with jam with cream, the cream should completely cover the jam. It is more convenient to spread the cream with a pastry bag, if there is no pastry bag, it can be replaced with a food bag.

Lay out the soaked cookies with the next layer.

We collect the "hut", so in each new layer we reduce the amount of cookies.

The bottom row is 5 cookies wide, the second row is 4 cookies wide, and so on in descending order 3, 2 biscuits, and the last row is one biscuit wide, so that you get a "structure" similar to "Hut.

In each row between the cookies, make a small gap in which we spread the jam.

We adjust the cookies so that they lie flat.

We spread the jam, and cover the cookies with jam with cream.

So we shape the cake to the end.

Leave a little cream to cover the open biscuits at the edges of the cream.

We put the cake in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours, I usually put it away at night so that the cake is infused and stabilized.

Before serving, decorate the cake, sprinkle the โ€œroof of the hutโ€ with chopped chocolate.

The cake is prepared quickly enough, you just have to wait for it to infuse.

It turns out very tasty both with cottage cheese cream and with custard-based Sundae cream.

Ingredients designed for cake size 21 x 18 cm, height 9 cm, weight 1650 grams.

The foundation

260 grams / 30 pcs. โ€“ Savoyardi cookies

Cream

400 gram - soft curd without grains (curd cheese or Mascarpone cream cheese) soft kefir curd
300 grams - sour cream
120 grams - icing sugar (6 tbsp. spoons)
20 grams - vanilla sugar (4 tsp. spoons)
120 grams - butter
200-250 grams - cherry jam (any jam with sour taste)

Impregnation

200 grams - water
70-100 grams - cherry jam (any jam with sour taste)

Sprinkling

15 grams - chocolate

Instead of curd cream, it works well as well Cream Custard Sundae
