Today's article will focus on bread, or rather, what to do to keep it fresh for a long time and not mold. Recently, I myself have completely switched to bread, but some members of my family, we will not point a finger, can not follow my example. And purchased bread quickly deteriorates and has to be thrown away. In order not to do this, I learned several ways how to "extend the life" of bread. I'll tell you about the working methods that I personally tested it in practice.

For the experiment I, as usual, put the bread in the bread bin and left for a few days. After 4 dayshe was covered in mold. The results before and after are shown in the photo, scroll to the right.

Let's start with the main method that seemed to me most effective. For this we need

capsulefrom a kinder surprise, in which you need to make holes, cotton pads and iodine. We apply 4 drops of iodine on a cotton pad, put it in a capsule and close. We put the capsule in the bread bin. I did these procedures and also waited 4 days. The result impressed me - there was not even a hint of mold! Of course, the bread turned a little bit stale, but in general the condition was satisfactory and incomparable with the results of the first experiment. There was no smell or taste of iodine in the bread. Everything is shown in the photo, scroll to the right.

By the way, if your bread is moldy in your bread bin, you need rinse it thoroughly, preferably with soapy water before putting in fresh bread. Also do not store white and black bread together, and if even a small dot of mold appearsthrow out the whole bun immediately, since microorganisms managed to penetrate into the whole bread.

I decided to combine the following 3 methods, as they practically showed identical results. I am also on 4 days put in a bread bin apple, salt and a slice of peeled potatoes. After 4 days bread mold was not in any case, but it was noticeably callous than with iodine. So, I advise everyone use the first method. It should be remembered that if without the use of tricks, the bread does not grow moldy for many days, then it means many antifungal bacteria, which is very bad.
