In today's article, I want to share with my readers curious information, concerning the purpose of some details in objects, which we see almost every day in everyday life. Recently, quite by accident, I noticed that the computer in the plug for the outlet has special hole (seen in the photo). I wondered what it was for, after checking a few more forks from household appliances and appliances, I realized that there are such holes in almost every plug. My interest increased and I found out what's what, while looking for an answer, I came across 2 more things about the purpose of which, personally, I did not even think about, although I saw them almost every day.
1. Hole on plugs for sockets. As it turned out, in some countries, grounding in sockets does not occur through the petals, as we do in Russia, and through the rod, which is just inserted into this hole in a fork. It's that simple!
2. Hole on a cutting board. These holes came across my eyes for more than one year, almost every day, but I did not even think that they were made for a reason.If a week ago I was asked why they are needed, on reflection, I would assume that with the help of them you can hang the board on the hook. A it turns out not everything is so simple - the hole is needed so that the cutting board put on a saucepan or other utensils, and cut food directly on it, throwing them into this hole (for example, chopped vegetables). It seems to me that this method will be very convenient in cramped conditions or when you need something cut quickly into a saucepan.
3. Loops on shoes. Not all, but many shoes, you may notice loops at the top of the back. As in the second point, I have never attached any importance to this element of the shoe. If I thought about it, then I would be 100% sure that the hinges are for hanging boots, but in fact they replace the shoe spoon -just pull on the loop with your finger when putting on the boot.
