In today's article I will tell you why do I leave lemon and salt by the bed at night and about two more useful life hacks for a quick and cheerful awakening in the morning. Waking up and the first minutes after sleep set the tone for the whole day ahead, which is why it is so important to pay special attention to this time. I use these tricks every day.
1. By the bed, on the bedside table, I leave every night lemon sprinkled with salt. This berry (lemon is a berry) is a natural energetic, and inhaling the scent of lemon, from the first seconds of awakening, our brain releases serotonin - the "hormone of happiness", thereby giving us cheerfulness and positiveness. Also, sleeping near a lemon is good for the heart, respiratory tract, nervous system, and in the summer it not only refreshes the air in the room, but also repels mosquitoes. You can leave not all the fruit overnight - a couple of slices will be enough, and salt will prolong the positive effect.
2. Alarm clock. Better to put two alarms at once with a difference of one minute. Place the first, earlier, close to the bed, for example, on the bedside table, and the second farther away so that you have to get out of bed if you want to turn it off. So you don't jump out of bed right away after waking up, and you will have a minute to come to your senses and stretch. But at the same time you will not postpone the alarm, continuing to sleep, because to turn off the second one will have to get out of bed. The most important thing is not to put off your alarms, but to get up right away, as otherwise many awakenings will exhaust you and you will start the day already tired.
3. For a quick and cheerful awakening Surround yourself with pleasant things in the morning. On the same alarm clock, set the cheerful music that you like and change it periodically, put on a nice soft robe, cook something delicious for breakfast. It is such small (individual for everyone) pleasant little things make you wake up quickly, cheerfully and with pleasure.
