In today's article I will talk about five effective ways to save money when shopping for food. We all know about the main rule of saving on products - do not go hungry to the store. But there are other working methods to save money when going to the grocery store. All of the following tricks I checked in practice - they really work.
1. Pay attention to yellow and red labels. Of course, these price tags do not always guarantee a profitable offer, since they are the usual marketing ploy of grocery chains, but nevertheless, among them you can choose a product with a substantial discount. Also, you should pay attention to the goods, which lie on the lower shelves, as a rule, the cheapest positions are placed on the places "inconvenient" for the buyer. If your goal is dull to a minimum, look down more often.
2. Check the check. It is better to do this immediately without leaving the cash register. Before, I never checked a check and often did not even take it from the checkout. But starting to check, I realized that this procedure really helps to save money. It often happens that goods that were sold for a promotion at the checkout they fight back at the regular price. Having found this, you can go to the cashier for the recount, and the store is obliged to sell the product at the price indicated on the price tag. Also, the cashier can accidentally, or perhaps on purpose, break through an extra position.
3. Write a list. Firstly, it is very convenient, since it is elementary it's hard to keep a list in your head from a dozen, and sometimes more, names. Second, the list will save you money, since you buy only the products you need, which have been thought out in advance. Third, the grocery list saves time because you don't think what to buy, walking around the store. You can write a list on paper or on a smartphone, there are even special programs, but I use regular notes. Write in the comments what ways to save on purchases do you know, I am very interested to know your opinion! I liked the article - press your thumbs up!
