How to make warm slippers from old unnecessary things. Now on cold summer evenings my feet are warm.

Today I will tell how to make warm slippers from old unnecessary things. This method recently helped me out in the country, as it was cold in the evenings, and there were no warm home shoes. My husband and I had an idea make your own slippers. In the end, it turned out pretty well, and now, on cold summer evenings at the dacha, my feet are warm.

1. As "pockets" for slippers, it was decided to use old jeans. We cut out the back pockets with scissors. Anything made of dense material can be suitable as the base of the sole, we took the old linoleum. She cut off a strip of 20 centimeters and began to cut out a slipper according to the "pattern". Then she applied glue to the entire surface and glued the jeans blank. Everything is shown in detail in the photo, scroll to the right.

2. In theory, the slippers are ready, but you need to insulate them. Suitable for this any warm fabric, for example from a sweater or fur. I suggested using the sleeves from my husband's old sheepskin coat. He was not very happy, but agreed. Cutting the sheepskin coat, we cut out a slipper fur insoles and put into new home shoes. There is no need to glue the insoles, they stick well anyway. The result is very comfortable, cozy and most importantly warm slippers, look at the third photo as you scroll to the right.
