Today I will tell you about how decided to check one home experiment for children, which was to recharge the phone from the bulb. Of course, it was supposed to charge the battery not 100%, but at least a little. I wanted to show this experiment to little grandchildren who will come to visit during the autumn holidays. Previously, I decided to experiment without small spectators and at the same time share the results with you. Let's get down to business!
For the experiment we need: onion, screwdriver, energy drink, charging, deep bowl and telephone.
The experiment is very simple, having previously washed and peeled the onion, it is necessary on the sides make two shallow holes with a screwdriver (You can replace the screwdriver with a nail or pencil). Then you need to put the onion in a deep container and pour it energy drink (which is absolutely unimportant). Next, leave the bow for 30 minutes. Scroll the photo to the right.
After a while, we take out the onion and dry it with a paper towel. Our "portable battery" is ready. In the source where I saw this experiment, it was implied that in this way you can clearly show children how electrons pass through the onion charge and charge the phone. I took out the cable from the adapter and plugged it into the bulb with a USB connector... Iii - nothing has happened. The phone didn't charge! I tried to "charge" several times, but alas, nothing came of it. So we can safely say that the myth is destroyed and it makes no sense to show such an experiment to children. If you liked the heading of home experiments for children and grandchildren - like it!
