Hello dear readers of my channel. Today I want to talk about gray and brown mascara, who should take a closer look at these products, replace the usual black mascara with them.
Perhaps many of you have heard that with age, you MUST switch from rich black mascara to discreet gray or brown. However, in fact, the choice of mascara depends solely on the condition of the eyelashes, the technique for dyeing them, as well as the color of the hair and eyebrows. This is what I want to talk about today.
Eyelash condition
In some women, the condition of the eyelashes worsens with age (not all), the eyelashes become less frequent and shorter. So, in order not to draw attention to this "drawback", it is better to paint eyelashes with gray ink or brown, but this rule applies if shadows that are darker are not used skin color.
For example, if brown shadows are applied to the movable upper eyelid, after which the eyelashes are stained with brown mascara, then the makeup may look unfinished and even strange.
Conclusion: gray or brown mascara is preferable in the event that the condition of the eyelashes has worsened and you are not fond of shadows.
Mascara application technique
There are several techniques for applying mascara, but from my own experience I know that many women of age try to when painting eyelashes, raise them as much as possible straight from their growth, while the "break" point should be closer to middle. To understand what I'm talking about, I will attach a photo:
If the eyelashes are short, then there can be no other way out (I'm now talking about dyeing the eyelashes with lifting them up from the very roots). And in this case, gray and brown mascara is preferable, as it will accentuate the eyelashes, and the makeup will look "smoky".
Hair color and color of eyelashes (as well as eyebrows)
Here, I think, it is clear that hair, eyelashes and eyebrows should be in harmony. If you dye your hair black, then gray mascara will look ridiculous.
Which mascara to choose - gray or brown, depends on several factors. I advise you to buy mascara in a neutral shade (even gray, even brown, which do not have an obvious warm or cold undertone).
