Recently I posted a spinach roll recipe on my channel. I was very pleased that he aroused great interest among readers. I shared this news with my friend. She immediately remembered another roll recipe, which I am bringing to your judgment today.

It turned out to be no less tasty than spinach, and I will not even say how well it goes as a snack for one strong drink).

What else I liked about this dish is that nothing needs to be baked or fried anywhere. Now let's move on to the recipe itself.

For a roll you will not need:

  • Cheese - 40-450 gr.
  • Curd cheese - 220 gr.
  • Greens (cilantro, dill) - bunch
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Pickled cucumber - optional

First you need to boil a pot of water, when the water starts to boil, remove it from the heat, and put a piece of cheese in it, in a pre-prepared bag.

Here is an important point. You should have a medium-sized bag as it is in it that the cheese will not only melt, but you will roll it out with a rolling pin. In other words, the size of the bag is the length of your roll. It took me 30 minutes for the cheese to become soft and it could be rolled out.

While the cheese is resting in the pan, let's start filling. Put the curd cheese in a salad bowl, finely chop all the greens and add to the curd,

stir everything with a fork / spoon. Because the cheese is hard enough. More precisely, it is difficult to bring it with herbs to a homogeneous mass, so add a spoonful of sour cream to this mixture and a spoonful of mayonnaise (we will not tell anyone about this), but the taste and consistency will become exactly what we were need to. Add a couple of cloves of minced garlic.

Stir well again. While you are preparing the filling, the cheese has melted and is ready for you to make a thin tortilla out of it inside the bag. Roll out boldly, if it is well dispersed, then it will not tear.

Use scissors to remove the bag (top only)

Place the filling on top of the cheese.

I deliberately put a finely chopped cucumber on one side, so that later to show you that there are different fillings. On the other side of the roll, you can put olives, then the roll will sparkle with new colors in the cut. You can use both ham and olives, peppers. Instead of curd cheese, crab salad or something else.

We twist a tight roll, wrap it in another bag and refrigerate for a couple of hours. Eat right away, but I recommend letting the cheese sit in the refrigerator and harden.

We take out the roll from the refrigerator,

In conclusion, one piece of advice. My roll lay in the refrigerator for only an hour, so it didn't have time to freeze well. If you can, leave it in the refrigerator overnight.
