Summer continues. We are not at home, so we try to cook as simple as possible. Soups do not go in the heat, but fried foods are often difficult to eat too. Therefore, having gone to the market, and having bought a mixed mince (pork + beef) on the market 0.5 kg - 175 rubles, we decided to cook pepper.

Everything is prepared very quickly and easily.

For stuffed pepper, we need:

  • Bulgarian pepper -7 pcs.
  • Mixed minced meat (pork / beef) - 0.5 kg.
  • Rice - 50 gr.
  • Tomato - 1 pc.
  • Bulb onions - 1 pc.

First you need to peel and rinse the pepper well.

Rinse the rice and cook. After boiling, let it cook for no more than 5 minutes.

Finely chop the onion and fry in a pan.

Add boiled rice and fried onions to the minced meat.

Stir the minced meat well, season with salt and pepper.

Now you need to stuff the pepper with minced meat.

Put the pepper in a saucepan, put the tomato cut into rings on top.

Pour water into a saucepan so that the pepper is not completely covered with water, but half. We turn on the gas and leave the pepper to simmer for 25-30 minutes.

Put the finished pepper in a plate, sprinkle with herbs on top.

That's all! Lunch is ready!

I usually add sour cream to the pepper!
