And I will show you, dear friends, my breakfast today - just to prove once again that proper nutrition can be delicious.
The calorie content, of course, is not very small here (this is for those who are sure that a healthy diet should not be more satisfying than a leaf of green salad), but that's all the calories scattered in the pan are exceptionally correct and healthy, the taste is wonderful, the feeling of satiety is the field of such a meal guaranteed.
There is no exact name for this creation.
In some sources, the dish is called paneer stew with tomatoes. Hmm... This name is quite a place to be, because yes, there are references to India, namely to Vedic cooking. And, quite possibly, some Adiraja Das fried Indian homemade cheese with tomatoes, which is precisely called paneer.
Others call it a macaroni and cheese gravy. And if they are right, such a "dressing" is ideal for pasta, in the Italian common, not high, cuisine, there are similar dishes with homemade young cheese.
I used it all with great pleasure with a piece of bread well dried in a frying pan.
And now to business!
We take:
- Homemade cheese - Indian paneer or ours, native Adyghe, most importantly, not salty
- A couple of tomatoes
- A little cilantro
- Two feathers of green onions
- One and a half salt spoons of sour cream
- A little butter (for frying)
- Seasonings to taste. Ideally, turmeric, but I had bell peppers, but in general - we add what we like, and we don't bathe!
How we cook:
Everything is as simple as two and two. The main thing is to observe a simple rule: the cooking time from the moment you sent the cheese to prepare should not exceed five minutes.
Melt some butter in a frying pan, add spices to it.
At this time, we quickly chop our cheese into cubes and, as soon as the butter is hot enough (usually it takes about a minute), we send the cheese to the pan.
We cut the tomatoes and, as soon as the cheese is fried, we send them to his company. We cut greens there.
After another minute, add sour cream and mix everything. Salt, who needs it, and... bon appetit!
