There are no boring products. Even from a banal potato, with a little imagination, you can cook many very tasty things. And it's not only fries, pie potatoes, mashed potatoes (well, everyone remembers the passionate listing of dishes from the movie "Girls", right?).
Potatoes are used to make cutlets and casseroles, soufflés and dumplings, they are baked and fried in different forms ...
Zrazy, again, potato is a very tasty thing. For some reason, in my childhood I called them "infections". There is also a potato grandmother. According to legend, she comes from Belarus. And they named the dish that way, because Napoleonic soldiers took the potato creation from a certain Belarusian grandmother to feed the starving during the rapid flight from the Russian frosts the emperor.
Today's experiment, it somehow reminds this same grandmother, but if we look for analogues in modern kitchen, then we will have... muffins.
We take:
- Potatoes a little
- Cheese from the heart (go gouda or edam)
- Butter - 100 grams
- 2 eggs
- Salt to taste and spices if you like
How we cook:
Peel, cut, and boil the potatoes. I cooked for twenty minutes, but threw the potatoes into the already boiling water.
We turn the potatoes into mashed potatoes by adding one hundred grams of butter.
Three cheese, knead it with mashed potatoes.
We also introduce eggs into it.
And now - the main "trick" of this dish. Beat the potato dough for a long time and persistently, it should turn out to be very airy. The better you whisk, the better the muffins will be.
Then everything is simple: we lay out the mixture in molds. The tops can also be greased with an egg and even sprinkled with cheese - as you like.
We bake until golden brown in the oven at a temperature of 180-200 degrees.
