I cook it for tea instead of cake! Since it does not take much time to cook: everything was prepared, everything was put in the mold and in the oven at once and the result is always excellent. Delicious and beautiful. And so we proceed.

Recipe:

Eggs - 4 pcs.

Sugar -100gr.

Milk - 150 ml.

Vegetable oil -80 ml.

Baking powder -10g.

Salt -1/3 tsp

Flour -250g.

For the custard:

Egg -1pc.

Sugar -100gr.

Vanillin - 1 pack

Milk -500ml.

Corn starch -60g.

Butter - 60 gr.

For glaze:

Sugar powder -30-40g.

Lemon juice -2 tbsp

COOKING METHOD

First, let's prepare the cream. Break an egg into a bowl, add a gram of sugar, add vanillin. And beat with a whisk until a little foam.

Now pour in 500 ml of milk, add 60 grams of corn starch. Stir until smooth. We put on fire and constantly stirring, cook over medium heat until thickened.

As the cream thickens, immediately remove from heat and add 60 grams of butter, stir until the oil dissolves and homogeneity. There is no need to cool the cream.

We immediately start preparing the dough. Measure out 250 grams of flour, add 10 grams of baking powder and mix. Break 4 eggs into a bowl, add 100 grams of sugar, beat with a whisk. Now pour in 150 ml of milk and 80 ml of vegetable oil.

Mix and add the sifted flour with baking powder. The dough is ready. We take a form with a diameter of 24 cm, cover the bottom with baking paper and grease with oil. Pour all the dough into the mold, now put the cream in the middle with a slide, as I said, you don't need to cool the cream. You do not need to distribute it, it will be distributed as needed during the baking process.

We put in a preheated oven and bake at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes, I check the readiness with a wooden skewer. Let it stand for a while in the form and extract. Now you need to let it cool completely so that the cream gets stronger and cuts well.

Let's make the icing for the cake. Put 50 grams of powdered sugar in a bowl, add 50 ml of lemon juice. And mix. Now beat with a mixer or an electric whisk until smooth. If it turns out to be too liquid, you can add more powdered sugar, if thick, then you need to add lemon juice.

The lemon frosting is ready. Immediately pour icing over the cooled cake. I do not recommend preparing such a glaze in advance, as it hardens quickly. Cut into portions and can be served with tea or a cup of coffee. Very tasty and very simple.
