COOKING METHOD
First, let's prepare the dough. Sift 250 grams of flour into a bowl, add 1 tsp. baking powder and mix. Now add 100 grams of butter, just from the refrigerator and grind it into crumbs with flour.
Divide the egg into white and yolk. We don't need protein. Add the yolk, 1 tbsp. sugar, vanilla sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. sour cream and knead the dough.
The dough turns out to be elastic, it does not stick to your hands, if it does not gather well, you can add more sour cream. Put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
During this time, we will prepare the filling. Put 500 grams of cottage cheese in a bowl, break 3 eggs, add 100 grams of sugar and add starch. I add 2 tablespoons cornstarch.
Now we punch everything with a blender until smooth.
We take a mold with a diameter of 24 cm, grease with oil. We put the dough and distribute it in shape with our hands, make the sides.
We put the filling and level it. Put fresh or frozen berries on the filling. I have a cherry today, I donβt defrost it first.
We put in a preheated oven and bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes. Bake until golden brown. As it cools, the cake will settle a little, as it should be. Now let the cake cool down and cut into portions and serve with tea.
If desired, you can sprinkle with powdered sugar. Tasty, tender, aromatic. I recommend it, the more easy it is to prepare, try it.
