Today I want to share a recipe for Turkish stuffed bell pepper. Very colorful, unusually bright, unusual aromatic and of course very tasty. This can be served on a festive table. Preparing is simple.

Pepper -8-10 pcs.
Tomatoes -2 pcs.
For filling:
Carrots -1pc.
Onion -1 pc.
Minced meat -400gr.
Rice -100gr.
Water 150 ml.
Salt -1 / 2 tsp.
Black pepper - to taste
Sweet paprika - to taste
Bay leaf -1pc.
Cooking method
And so we proceed. Grate carrots on a coarse grater. Cut the onion into cubes. We take a deep frying pan, I take a wok.
Pour in some vegetable oil, put onions and fry until translucent. Add the carrots, fry all together for 2 minutes and add 400 grams of minced meat.
Fry for 2 minutes, add 100 grams of rice. Mix, add half a tsp. salt, black pepper, bay leaf, sweet paprika. Pour in water about 150 ml of water. We close the lid and simmer until the rice is cooked for 10-15 minutes.
During this time, we will prepare the pepper. We remove seeds from it. Cut a couple of tomatoes into rings.
When the rice is ready. Cut the greens and add to the filling. Stir and remove from heat. Grease a baking sheet with oil.
Now we take the prepared pepper and fill it with the filling. Put a tomato circle on top. Put the pepper on a baking sheet. We continue to fill the pepper.
Now grease the pepper with vegetable oil. Pour in some water. We put in the oven and bake until cooked at a temperature of 180 degrees for about 50 minutes, or use your oven. As the pepper begins to brown on top, grease it with the resulting sauce and cover with foil. We continue to cook until tender.
Serve the finished pepper to the table. As an independent dish. At your discretion, you can not fry the minced meat in advance, but add it with cheese when the rice is ready. It turns out also delicious.
