Perfect chocolate sponge cake on boiling water

This insanely delicious homemade Cake doesn't even require additional cream. The dough is quick and easy to prepare. It turns out tall, moist, soft, aromatic and very tasty. Optionally, you can cut into 3-4 cakes and coat with any of your favorite cream. Or you can simply pour chocolate icing on top.

Recipe:

Flour - 270g.

Cocoa powder -60g.

Baking powder -1.5 tsp.

Soda -1.5 tsp.

Eggs -2 pcs.

Sugar -300gr.

Vanillin - to taste

Salt -1 / 4 tsp.

Milk -200ml.

Vegetable oil -90ml.

Boiling water -200 ml

COOKING METHOD

We measure 270 grams of flour, add 60 grams of cocoa powder, 1.5 tsp. baking powder and 1.5 tsp. soda, mix.

Set aside. Break 2 eggs into a bowl, add 300 grams of sugar, and beat everything with a mixer until the sugar dissolves and increases the mass, it takes 2-3 minutes in time.

Now pour in 200 ml of milk at room temperature and 90 ml of vegetable oil, mix gently with a spatula, now gradually add the cocoa flour and gently mix with a spatula in one direction.

I do not recommend mixing with a mixer, as this is a biscuit dough and you need to work with it carefully so that it rises well during the baking process.

Now pour 200 ml of boiling water into the dough and mix. The dough will immediately become liquid, as it should be.

Best of all, I like to bake such a sponge cake in a slow cooker. We grease the bowl with oil, I cover the bottom with baking paper. Pour the dough and put the bowl in the microwave. We select the baking mode.

Remove with a steam basket. Let the biscuit cool down. Now you can cut the biscuit into 3-4 cakes and soak with your favorite cream.

It turns out to be so soft and moist and very chocolatey, so even it is enough just to pour the chocolate icing on top and sprinkle with nuts and you can immediately serve it.
