A tomato is not a "boiled egg" and you cannot quickly peel it, for this you need to know some tricks.
And so, I'll tell you all the ways that I know about:
1. I think everyone knows how to peel a tomato by blanching!? This is when a slight cross-shaped cut is made on the fruit, then the tomato is dipped in boiling water for a few seconds.
Then the skin is easily removed by hand. Be careful not to burn yourself!
2. This can be done using a microwave.
My tomatoes are good. We make a cruciform incision from the side of the stalk. Place the tomatoes on a flat plate so that they do not touch each other. This will warm them up completely.
Now turn on the microwave for 30-40 seconds. I turn on 700 watts at full power. This is quite enough for the skin to move away from the tomato.
We start removing the skin, now the skin is well removed from the tomato. Be careful not to burn yourself!
3. And now, I am sharing my favorite way of removing the skin from a tomato, which I wanted to tell you about from the very beginning.
It is great for making tomato sauce, gravies and toppings.
And so, we take the tomatoes and cut them into two halves.
Now, holding onto the skin, rub the tomatoes on a coarse grater.
We remove the peel, we do not need it.
And so the tomato is ready to use.
So, without boiling water, you can quickly remove the skin from tomatoes. I hope my advice will be useful to you, and you will use it more than once.
