Today I am sharing a recipe for Meatballs with dumplings in a creamy sauce. This recipe was sent to me by my subscriber from the Republic of Belarus, for which many thanks to her, I could not resist and immediately cooked it. Bribed by the simplicity and the available ingredients. The family asked for a repeat, and at the same time I decided to share the recipe with you.

Recipe:
For dumplings:
Potatoes 2-3pcs. (250gr)
Flour -150g.
Salt - to taste
Egg -1pc.
For the sauce:
Butter -30gr.
Milk -400ml.
Flour -1st.l.
Salt to taste
Paprika -1 / 2 tsp.
For the meatballs:
Minced meat -300gr.
Onion -1 pc.
Garlic -2-3 teeth.
Salt -1 / 3 tsp.
Black pepper - to taste
Sweet paprika - to taste
Dried basil - to taste
COOKING METHOD
First, clean 2-3 medium sized tubers weighing 250 grams. And boil in salted water until cooked, while the potatoes are being cooked, we will do the meatballs. Cut the onion into cubes, finely chop 2-3 cloves of garlic. Put 300 grams of minced meat in a bowl, add onions, garlic, salt, spices, I added black pepper, sweet paprika and basil. We mix everything. Now we make small cones from minced meat. During this time, the potatoes were just boiled.
We turn potatoes into mashed potatoes with a potato grinder. Let it cool a little and break 1 egg, mix, now gradually add flour and knead the dough. It didn't take 150 grams of flour for 250 grams of potatoes. The dough is sticky. Therefore, we grease our hands with vegetable oil, pinch off a little dough and roll small balls.
Take a frying pan, pour in some vegetable oil, heat up, put meatballs and fry on all sides until golden brown. Remove from the pan. Here, where the meatballs were fried, add 30 grams of butter and add 1 tbsp. flour. We mix.
Now pour in 400 ml of milk. Mix vigorously so that there are no lumps, it is better to use a whisk. You should get this milk sauce. Add the meatballs and lower the potato dumplings.
Fill with water, so that the dumplings are hidden in the water. Stir and add salt, spices, I added sweet paprika. Close the lid and cook for 15 minutes over medium heat, until tender. Sometimes we open the lid and stir so that nothing burns.
We serve the finished dish hot to the table as an independent dish or it can also be supplemented with a side dish. Everything is at your discretion. It turns out delicious, I will cook more than once. And I advise you to try.
