Everyone's favorite Apricot Jam! I cook without a thickener, the easiest way.

Today I want to share a recipe for apricot jam. The method is the simplest, I do not add thickeners. The density can be adjusted.

Recipe:

Apricots -2kg.

Sugar -2kg.

Citric acid ยฝ-1 tsp.

COOKING METHOD

Wash apricots and remove seeds. The weight of the peeled apricots is 2 kg. Put in a saucepan, add about 50 ml of water.

We close the lid and put the apricots on a minimum heat, you need to steam the apricots so that they become soft. About 10 minutes. Now we punch with a blender. Add sugar 2 kg. Add 1/2 tsp. citric acid or to taste.

Cook over medium heat until the desired thickness. You can drop it on a plate and wait until it cools down. If this density suits you, you can shoot. I cooked for 40 minutes over medium heat. This is how it looks hot. Pour it straight into clean, dry jars.
