I decided to find out what the taste of the new chocolate from Red October, in which there is 50% less sugar, tastes.
I love chocolate. I can eat it in its pure form, in the form of desserts, and in general in any form. Therefore, when I came across this chocolate in the store, I could not resist and bought it. This is a novelty from Red October called “Stole Sugar”.
The cost of such chocolate is 119.9 rubles per 90 grams, and if you count it in kilograms, it turns out to be 1332 rubles. For Red October, this is a rather high price. Let's see what she's asked for.
The packaging is very strange. It was made in the form of a Soviet-era newspaper article. The syllable and style are very similar. True, a cup of cappuccino distracts the USSR a little. The solution is not clear to me, they tried to combine 2 different cultures.
By the way, the plot is fictional from the wrapper. This is indicated by a footnote with a double asterisk. The first asterisk indicates what the tile has 50% less sugar relative to. It turns out that we are talking about some kind of milk chocolate, which is made on Red October. This is rather vague information. It's time to see what the composition of the chocolate is.
But the composition of the chocolate is really surprising. In the first place "soluble dietary fiber wheat" - this means that they are the most in the composition.
Components included are indicated in descending order of their mass fraction. That is, for example, if beef is in the first place in the sausage, it means that the composition should contain the most beef, and not chicken or soy.
The rest of the composition is more or less normal, although at this price you can buy something better. It's time to see what the chocolate looks like inside.
The chocolate bar is unremarkable. The logo of the factory flaunts on it, nothing more unusual. I wonder what that chocolate tastes like.
The taste is unusual. He does not repulse, but the second piece in his mouth does not really want to put. Somehow neutral. Chocolate contains chunks of granulated coffee that remain in your mouth after the chocolate has melted. It's time to take stock.
The packaging of the chocolate turned out to be strange. Moreover, chocolate is quite good for itself, although I would remove the coffee granules. Although, in the absence of sugar, it is necessary to somehow compensate for the taste of inexpensive raw materials. I don’t know if I’ll buy this chocolate again, I didn’t have a clear answer.
Have you tried such chocolate, how do you like it?
