While visiting my mother-in-law, I watched her make a delicious pie with “invisible” apples in a matter of minutes. I mixed all the ingredients with a whisk and didn't even take out the mixer.
Recipes from my mother-in-law are always popular in my blog. And there are reasons for this. All her baked goods are very simple, no complicated ingredients and don't take a lot of time to prepare.
I made this cake myself, just in case, and at the same time filmed the whole process for you. I will not delay, let's cook!
Step-by-step recipe on how to make invisible apple pie
Ingredients:
- Eggs 2 pcs
- Sugar 50 g
- Butter 20 g
- Milk 100 g (I used vegetable)
- Flour 70 g
- A pinch of salt
- Apples 3 pcs (large)
Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into slices about 2-3 mm thick. Now I'm going to make the dough.
I mix eggs with sugar until smooth.
No need to beat, just stir to mix the egg completely.
Add melted butter and milk and stir until combined.
Pour in salt and flour and mix until smooth.
It is important to mix so that there are no lumps left.
Pour the dough over the apples and stir so that most of the slices are covered with dough.
I transfer the dough to the mold. I will be oven in a rectangular silicone mold measuring 21x10x7 cm. I love silicone molds. They have many advantages: you can bake without greasing the dish (nothing will burn), it is convenient to remove the finished product.
The main advantage for me is that you can freeze cakes in them, for example, a mousse cake. Now there are a great many silicone molds on sale, there are cheap Chinese ones, which are enough for 2-3 times, and there are also super expensive ones for professional pastry chefs. Below I will leave a link to Yandex. A market with a form that I use myself, it is ideal both in price and in quality.
I bake for 45 minutes at 180 ° C. I check the readiness by the ruddy color.
After baking, let the cake cool completely and remove from the mold. With a silicone mold, this is easy to do. I just pull back the edges of the form and then flip it onto the dish. Let's show you what the pie looks like in a cut.
Due to the fact that the apples are very thin, they are almost invisible in the pie. But their taste and delicate texture are perfectly felt.
