I share how to make refreshing lemonade and spicy punch from sea buckthorn.
I really love autumn, this is a wonderful time of the year. But there is one moment in the fall that annoys me: in the morning and in the evening it is already quite cold, and in the afternoon it is still warm enough and you can walk in a T-shirt.
In such weather, I really want a cool and refreshing lemonade during the day. And in the evening, on the contrary, you want something warming. I am too lazy to prepare a separate drink for each occasion.
For the day I make sea buckthorn lemonade. And then, with some simple manipulations, I turn it into a hot and spicy punch. In general, a recipe for the same lazy people like me. Or, in other words, rationalizers. I will not delay, let's cook!

Step by step recipe on how to make sea buckthorn lemonade
Ingredients:
- Lemons 3 pcs
- Sea buckthorn 300 g
- Sugar 300 g
- Water 3 l
Wash lemons thoroughly as they are often waxed for long-term storage.
Rub the zest of lemons into a deep container. I remove only the upper yellow layer of the zest, I do not touch the white part, it will taste bitter.
Then I roll the lemons with my palm to make the juice stand out better, and squeeze it with a hand-held juicer. I pour it over to the zest.
I add sugar, sea buckthorn and a little water to the container. I punch with an immersion blender until smooth.
Punch with a blender carefully, as liquid may spray.
I pour it into a three-liter jar and pour it over the neck with filtered water. I close the lid and put it in the cold for 3-4 hours, or better at night.
After the indicated time, I filter through a fine sieve, and the lemonade is ready. Now I'll tell you how to make a punch.
Step by step recipe for how to make sea buckthorn punch
Making punch out of this lemonade is very simple. To do this, I pour some of the lemonade into a ladle, add some spices (star anise, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon).
I bring the liquid to a boil and cook for 2-3 minutes. Then I cover with a lid and let it brew for 5-10 minutes. The hot spicy punch is ready.
