I went to the coffee shop Kofetsvet on purpose, as my younger brother's friends recommended it to me. They say “Andrei, be sure to go to them, there coffee is made by a machine for 25,000 dollars”. I decided to check what kind of coffee it is, for which such a fabulously expensive coffee machine is needed.
The coffee shop is located in Moscow on Pokrovka, 8, about a 15-minute walk from the metro. When I was already approaching the place, I realized that this area is a tasty place for coffee shops. LES, ABC Coffee and several other small outlets are located literally opposite the Kofetsvet coffee shop. Apparently, here is the place of power for coffee lovers ...
Outside, the coffee shop has a bright, defiant design, and you just want to go in. Actually, that's why I ended up here, so I go in.
Before the entrance, a girl met me and handed out discount flyers for coffee. Using the flyer, you can buy any coffee for 65 rubles (more precisely, almost any - except for flowers).
The interior of the cafe is decorated in white, and some areas are painted in bright colors. Pretty sweet. I was in a cafe during the day and at the checkout got into a queue of 4 people, but the waiter took orders pretty quickly. While standing, I took pictures of the range and prices.
I must say that I was a little surprised at the prices, I expected them to be lower. Probably, a flyer played a role here, where they offered coffee for 65 rubles. Everyone has a different wallet, so I won't judge the prices, here everyone decides for himself how much he is willing to pay for coffee. While pondering and taking pictures, it was just my turn, mmm, to order?
I took a pink blossom. And for dessert I followed the advice of the waiter and ordered a mousse popsicle, by the way the most expensive of all desserts. It looks nice, but you have to try.
Hmm, the dessert disappointed me. I was looking forward to getting a light mousse cake, but I got this. Inside there is something like a mousse, which obviously has too much gelatin added. Although, maybe there was such an idea of the chief, but I did not like it. I hope that at least the coffee will be delicious.
What does coffee taste like, which was prepared in a coffee machine for $ 25,000
I'm not a big fan of cappuccino and ordered it just for the color, but it looks like nothing. The coffee turned out to be about the same as in McDonald's, only there it costs 99 rubles, and here it costs 295. Presumably, this is a surcharge for color. It's time to summarize.
It's beautiful inside, nice and friendly staff, but the most ordinary coffee and tasteless desserts, which are also not cheap.
I got the impression that instead of bragging about the product (coffee), the guys are bragging about the tool (coffee machine) that helps make it. But having a cool tool is not always a guarantee that you will get a good product.
If you want a good coffee or a delicious dessert, it is better to go to the LES coffee shop, and for beautiful photos in ABC Coffee, since both places are across the road.
What do you think is better - a good product or a good tool?
