It happens to you that while cooking with something for a long time, and when you have already done it, you realize: “But it was so easy to do, I completely forgot about this method”? I notice this quite often.
"It's so obvious, how could I ever forget about it ???" Recently I decided to write down such useful tips in a separate list so that I don't forget about them anymore. So far, there are only 5 such tips and, in order not to lose them, I decided to put them in an article and share with you.

1. How to squeeze lemon or citrus juice easily
It is much easier to squeeze lemon juice if you first press it down with your hand and roll it on the table surface. This is one of the few life hacks from the collection that I use regularly and always remember about it.
2. How to quickly bring butter to room temperature
I learned about this life hack myself recently. I liked it, as I often forget to put the butter out of the refrigerator in advance to whip the cream.
Cut off the required amount of butter and place on a plate. Cover with a hot container and leave. To heat the container, pour boiling water into it for a couple of minutes. After 3-4 minutes, the butter will be ready for whipping.
3. How to adhere cling film to a non-tacky surface
I use this method when making bread. I knead the bread in an ikeevsky metal bowl, to which the film does not stick at all. Before proofing, the dough should be covered with a foil, and it flies off the bowl all the time.
To avoid this, I wipe the edges of the bowl with a wet hand and the film adheres to them perfectly.
For the next life hack, I have not come up with a nice subtitle, so I leave it under the number.
4.
Instead of the film from the previous point, you can use a shower cap. You don't even have to stick it, it has an elastic band. The only drawback is that it is only suitable for small bowls.
5. How to distance the dough and not be afraid that it will "blow"
I love baked goods, and she loves time, distance and rise. But he really does not like drafts. In order not to be afraid that the dough will settle or take a long time to rise, I put it in an unheated oven. There definitely won't be any wind to disturb him.
What life hack seems to you the most obvious, but you always forget about it?
