Previously, I did not really like baking pancakes, precisely because each time they turned out differently for me. Even if I cooked them according to the same recipe, the result was always completely unpredictable.
But over time, I noticed certain rules, and if you follow them, the pancakes are excellent. I will not hide them and show them using the example of today's pancake recipe. In order not to be distracted from the cooking process, I will tell you the secrets at the end of the article.
Step by step recipe on how to make thin pancakes with holes
Ingredients:
- Milk 250 g
- Water (boiling water) 150 g
- Flour 120 g
- Eggs 2 pcs
- Sugar 30 g or 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil 15 g or 1 tablespoon
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
I add sugar, salt to the eggs and beat with a mixer until foam forms.
Continuing to beat, pour in warm milk (warmed up in the microwave for 30 seconds). When the dough is smooth, sift the flour and mix.
I add vegetable oil and immediately pour in all the boiling water and mix with a mixer. The dough turns out to be liquid - that's what we need.
I heat the pan over high heat. It takes me 3-4 minutes. I will bake at almost the maximum power of the stove (I have induction, I will cook at 8 out of 9).
Before baking, grease the pan with vegetable oil and pour out the ladle of dough. I distribute it over the entire surface of the pan and after 15-20 seconds you can already turn it over. Pancakes are ready, and I am ready to share the secrets that help me bake thin pancakes, with holes even without soda, baking powder and yeast.
