An appetizing meat dish can be made with a minimum amount of time spent. For example, if you cook a pita roll with minced meat in the oven and feed your family with it for lunch or dinner. By the way, it can become not only the main dish, but also an appetizer, especially when unexpected guests are on the doorstep.

Be sure to add one or more chicken eggs to the minced meat, depending on their weight, so that the filling is evenly fried and held in the middle of the roll. It can be anything: beef, pork, pork and beef, chicken, etc., as long as it is fresh. If you buy such a product in a store or on the market, do not hesitate to sniff it!

Beat a chicken egg into a self-prepared or ready-made minced meat purchased. Season with salt and pepper. If desired, you can add other chopped spices there, finely grated onions, pre-peeled and washed, chopped garlic cloves. The roll will be especially tasty if you mix fresh dill, parsley or cilantro into the minced meat. Stir it thoroughly to distribute the spices and egg evenly.

Unroll two sheets of thin Armenian lavash on the work surface, spread the minced meat, spreading it. It is advisable not on two sheets separately, but to put them together so that the thin pita bread does not break when twisted and the filling does not leak out when baked.

Squeezing the edges carefully, roll the filled pita bread into a roll. If you start twisting it from a narrow edge, then it will turn out to be thicker, if from a long one, then it will be narrower.

Place the blank in a mold or on a baking sheet, covering it with parchment paper and not forgetting to grease it. If the shape is not too wide, cut the roll in two in the middle. Grease it with vegetable oil on top so that the dish acquires a golden crust when baked.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and send the roll to bake for about 25-30 minutes. Watch the baking surface. It is not recommended to increase the temperature in the oven, otherwise the top of the roll will burn, and the filling inside it will remain moist.

Remove the dish from the oven. Let cool slightly and cut the dish warm, otherwise cold pita bread will crumble when slicing.

Serve a pita roll with minced meat to the table with sour cream, garlic sauce, pickles or fresh vegetables.
