I think many who were born in the USSR should remember this pizza in a bun. In my family, it was often cooked on weekends as a snack during the day. The filling was the simplest - boiled sausage or small sausages, cheese and tomato. I don’t remember ketchup at that time, but Krasnodar sauce was sold everywhere in half-liter cans and mayonnaise in cans of the same name under an iron lid. Of course, if you tell today's children that this is pizza, you will hear nothing but laughter, but they eat it with great pleasure.
Ingredients:
- Lunch roll - 2 pieces
- Milk sausage - 200 g
- Hard cheese - 100 g
- Salami - 50 g
- Ketchup - 1 tablespoon
- Mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon
- Tomato - 30 g
Prepare all the necessary foods from the list. Occasionally, a little inexpensive raw smoked or dry-cured sausage was added to such a pizza, if it was on sale. Today we can afford a little salami)))
Wash and dry the tomatoes.
Peel the sausage and salami, cut into small cubes. Place the sausages in a deep bowl.
Cut the tomato into small cubes. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, set aside half of the shavings. Mix the filling well.
Cut off the top of the buns, scrape off all the crumb. By the way, this bread was then stored and used for cooking cutlets.
Mix mayonnaise with ketchup. Brush the inside of the buns with this sauce, fill them generously with the filling to the very top.
Sprinkle with grated cheese set aside.
Transfer the buns to a baking dish and place in a preheated oven to 200 degrees for 10 minutes. The cheese should melt well.
Serve the pizza in a bun immediately after cooking. Very simple, tasty and satisfying.
Enjoy!
