Soup with canned fish is very easy to whip up, so even a novice cook can handle it. Adding rice to the dish makes it hearty and rich. You can take any canned fish - sardine, saury or pink salmon. Add fresh herbs to taste and season: green onions, parsley or dill.

Ingredients:

Potatoes - 3-4 pcs.

Bulb onions - ½ pc.

Carrots - 1 pc.

Canned fish "Sardine in oil" - 1 b.

Refined sunflower oil - 50 ml

Bay leaf - 1 pc.

Fresh dill or parsley - 0.5 bunch

Salt - 1 tsp

Rice - 0.5 cups

Water - 1.5 liters

Step by step recipe:

Step 1 Take the products you need.

Step 2 Put a pot of water on the stove. We sort out the rice and free it from small debris, if any. We rinse well under running water.

Step 3 Cut the peeled potatoes into wedges or cubes.

Step 4 Add it to the pot after boiling water.

Step 5 When the water and potatoes boil, add the rice and wait for the next boil. Then reduce the heat to medium. Salt. In total, the soup will cook for 20 minutes.

Step 6 Cut the peeled onions into small cubes, and three carrots on a grater or simply cut into strips.

Step 7 Pour oil into the pan, heat it up. Fry carrots and onions over medium heat, stir occasionally.

Step 8 For 10 minutes before the end of cooking, transfer the frying to the soup. And also we spread canned food. If you wish, you can knead the fish with a fork, I prefer to leave the pieces intact.

Step 9 Rinse the dill and chop finely. 5 minutes before the end of cooking the soup, add it and the bay leaf to the saucepan.

Step 10 Before removing it from the stove, we taste the dish with salt, add it, if necessary.

Canned fish soup with rice is ready. Serve hot or warm.
