Ingredients:

Bananas - 2 pcs.

Apples - 2 pcs.

Honey - 20 ml

Lemon juice - 20 ml

Drinking water - 300 ml

Mint - for serving

Step by step recipe:

Step 1 - To make a banana and apple smoothie at home, you need a chopper (blender, mixer with a "knife" attachment). The juicier the apples and the sweeter the banana, the more aromatic the final drink. It is clear that no heat treatment is provided, so the fruit must be fresh, sound - without spoilage and rot, and, moreover, ripe. In season, choose a new crop of fragrant and especially delicious apples.

Step 2 - After peeling, cut the banana pulp into transverse circles or simply break it into small pieces.

Step 3 - If the apple peel is tough enough (and optional), remove it. Chop apples arbitrarily, but not too large.

Step 4 - Dip the fruit slices into a bowl for beating-chopping, pour in refreshing lemon juice (you can also add zest or other flavors).

Step 5 - Add liquid (about 50 ml) to make the hard pieces grind faster. This recipe contains chilled water.

Step 6 - Chopping the fruit, pour in the remaining water. If necessary, season with natural honey. Stir or start the unit again for a few seconds.

Step 7 - The homemade low calorie banana apple smoothie is ready - pour, decorate with mint and, for example, banana mugs. Serve with straws (very thick drinks - with spoons).
