This is one of my six "must-have" New Year's salads. Bright, fresh, fragrant, satisfying, but also light at the same time.
In the video below at 09:57 am I am making this salad. There is also a Caesar salad (three options) and a Sated Boatswain salad, which are also definitely on my New Year's menu. Take a look - you'll love it!
First, pickle the onions. I cut it with feathers. I add water and vinegar, stir and leave for 15 minutes.
Now the main ingredient is beef. I boiled it and cooled it beforehand. Other meat will not work here - you need beef! And without meat this salad will no longer be "Tbilisi" 😊 I cut the meat into pieces.
I chop the cilantro (it also gives its taste here). You can, of course, replace it with parsley (but this is in the most extreme case - if you do not like cilantro at all). Better, of course, not to change anything in the recipe.
Now nuts. Pre-fry in a dry frying pan and grind.
I chop the bell peppers. And add a little more hot pepper.
Combine all the chopped ingredients in a bowl. Here is a can of canned beans (I drained the liquid, washed the beans). For this salad, I take exactly red beans. At the end I add garlic through a press and a little black pepper.
I definitely add Khmeli-Suneli seasoning to this salad. Salt to taste and season with apple cider vinegar and olive oil.
It remains to mix. Salad ready! Highly recommend! Try it - amazingly delicious!
INGREDIENTS:
• Beef (boiled) - 250 g
• Canned red beans - 1 ban. (Rinse)
• Red onion - 1 pc.
• Sweet red pepper - 1 pc.
• Hot pepper - 0.5 pcs.
• Garlic - 2 teeth.
• Walnuts - 50 g
• Cilantro - to taste
• Ground black pepper
• Hops-suneli - 0.5 tsp.
• Olive oil - 30 ml
• Apple cider vinegar 6% (or grape) - 1 tbsp.
• Salt
*** To pickle onions, take an additional 1 tbsp. vinegar + 100 ml of boiled water. Marinate the onion for 10-15 minutes, then drain the liquid!
