Oven baked chicken in honey and soy sauce will impress any member of your family. Ingredients:

Chicken legs - 2 pcs.

Liquid honey - 1 tbsp.

Soy sauce - 4 tablespoons

Mustard beans - 1.5 tbsp

Orange juice - 100 g

Salt to taste

Ch.m. pepper - taste

Preparation:

1. We will need all the products on the list. The legs must be washed under running water, cut off all the fat, and dried with paper towels. By the way, in such a marinade you can bake absolutely any part of chicken - the wings will also turn out to be very tasty, and the whole baked carcass can be served on the table for guests. The only thing to remember: at the beginning of baking, the chicken dish must be covered with foil for 30 minutes, otherwise the carcass will not cook quickly, and the skin from the honey marinade will burn.

2. Pour the soy sauce and liquid honey into a convenient deep bowl. Add good quality grain mustard, preferably mild. Squeeze the juice out of the orange, add salt and black pepper. Whisk the marinade and taste.

3. Put the legs in the marinade; for more convenience, they can be cut in two along the knee joint. Marinate for about 20 minutes, although the longer, the tastier it will be. Flip chicken chunks from time to time to marinate evenly.

4. Transfer the marinated chicken legs to a baking dish and pour over the rest of the marinade. For more flavor and aroma, add a couple of orange slices.

5. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, place the chicken in it and bake for 40-45 minutes on top and bottom heating without convection. Occasionally pour the marinade over the legs from the bottom of the mold or brush them with a silicone brush. A chicken is considered ready when, when cut, an absolutely clear and transparent juice flows out of it. If your oven is very hot, then cover the dish with meat in honey-soy sauce with foil for 20 minutes so that it does not burn, then remove it and continue cooking according to the recipe.

Finished chicken legs will have a beautiful and ruddy skin and very juicy. Serve as a hot dish with any favorite side dish. Rice or mashed potatoes are perfect here.
