Broccoli is a great product for making a delicious, low-calorie and healthy side dish. Chicken cooked with this cabbage in a slow cooker is a nutritious enough dish that will perfectly complement your lunch or dinner. It will especially appeal to those who adhere to a healthy and proper diet. It is quick and easy to prepare this dish with the help of the kitchen assistant. In this recipe, the Philips multicooker HD 3039 was used.
Ingredients:
Chicken fillet - 450 g
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Broccoli -200 g
Water - 180 ml
Refined vegetable oil - 30 ml
Sour cream 20% - 100 ml
Garlic - 2 cloves
Salt and spices to taste
Step by step recipe:
Step 1 - Prepare foods from the list. Cabbage is suitable both fresh and frozen. For a tender vegetable like broccoli, I recommend using chicken fillet.
Step 2 - Leave the broccoli in salted water for 30 minutes, then rinse it under running water, disassemble it into inflorescences. Cut off small heads of cabbage.
Step 3 - Prepare the onion and garlic. Finely chop the peeled vegetables.
Step 4 - We wash the chicken meat, dry it with a napkin. Cut into small pieces of the same size.
Step 5 - Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl, add chicken meat. We turn on the "Baking" mode, close the lid, cook in this mode for 15 minutes. It roasts faster and more evenly.
Step 6 - After 5-7 minutes, when the meat has changed its color to white and has let a lot of juice, add onion and garlic, mix. We continue to cook in the same mode with the lid closed.
Step 7 - After 15 minutes, switch the multicooker to the "Quenching" mode.
Step 8 - Place broccoli in a bowl. If you will use frozen cabbage, then immediately send it to the multicooker, preliminary defrosting is not required for it.
Step 9 - Stir sour cream and salt in water. Pour this mixture into the dish.
Step 10 - Season with any spices you like, I take some paprika and Provencal herbs. Close the lid and wait while the multicooker cooks.
Step 11 - After 15 minutes, turn off the equipment.
Step 12 - The broccoli chicken is ready. Serve with any side dish of your choice - mashed potatoes, pasta or rice.
